Botox or Injectable Fillers

With so many new resources available to solve all the problems of unwanted wrinkles and folds of skin, can be a bewildering task to understand the benefits of each product. One of the common misunderstandings surrounding the discussion of Botox vs Restylane fillers such as injectable, Juvederm and collagen. Understanding the differences in these products will make the task of choosing a treatment much easier. Just as his board certified cosmetic surgeon finds an informed patient is a patient happy, so be sure to schedule your initial consultation and ask all your questions about the improvement of these beauty products before making a final decision.

The main difference between Botox and other products mentioned is that Botox is a muscle relaxation, while Juvederm, Restylane, collagen, tissue fillers, etc.. Generally speaking, your cosmetic surgeon will decide whether Botox, injectable fillers or a combination of both is best for you based on their observations of the wrinkles and folds of skin wrinkles

; If you can only see when frowning or squinting, Botox is all you need
folds
If you can see her face when at rest, is likely to need filling < , br /> If
folds can be seen her face when at rest and their facial expressions that folds worse, you may need a combination of Botox and injectable fillers

Botox Botox Cosmetic is commonly used to relax the muscles of the eyes between sadness. It can also be used on the forehead, crow’s feet and frown lines that form in the face. Botox can also successfully treat ‘neck bands, the lines deepening around our neck as we age. Recently the FDA has approved Botox for the treatment of armpit sweating and sweaty hands.

Botox works on frown lines and folds of skin first to weaken the muscles that cause them, and then ‘break the habit “that have been developed and squinting pucker the frown. Muscles treated with Botox become temporarily unable to contract, so that you can not frown, although you may feel as though you are frowning. Because the muscles are not recruited, no wrinkles are formed and existing ones to relax and look smoother. Injectable Fillers

injectable fillers are sometimes called “a face lift in a needle” because of the excellent results and minimal downtime. You can usually resume normal activities immediately after treatment.

There are different types of loads available, and each is formulated to treat different types of wrinkles and skin folds. The thicker the padding of the formula, more successful in filling wrinkles. The disadvantage of this is that the heavier the burden, the greater the likelihood of potential hits, which are more likely to occur in areas of thin skin and lower eyelids and crow’s feet.

Zyderm (a product of collagen), and Restylane are less thick. Can be used successfully around the eye area, but also offer the lowest effect. Juvederm is long lasting between three and six months and may be used for deep wrinkles.

Radiesse is the longest lasting injectable that can last up to one year and is ideal for the nasolabial folds (the “parentheses” around the mouth), to deepen as we age .

Sculptra is a “Voluminizadores’, capable of covering large areas such as facial cheeks hollow. Several treatments are required.

Silikon 2000 and Artefill is a permanent soft tissue fillers. Although many patients have had excellent results, it is important to note that once injected and does not wear can not be removed.

Fillings are also an ideal choice for:

skin depressions left by acne scars

and fill the definition of cheekbones
How

correct misshapen or asymmetrical labia
Correct
areas along the bridge of the nose
Under

Some of the Newer uses for filling are: improving

As we age, our skin wrinkles. Wrinkles become deeper and the skin loses its elasticity. No treatment currently on the market can stop the aging process, but the cosmetic surgeon can help you decide on the best course of treatment based on your own circumstances, needs and outcomes.

Important Information About Botox Injections

It started with collagen and Botox, now there is Restylane, Perlane, Juvederm, and many probably have never heard of like Captique and ArteFill. And it’s not just a bunch of brand names for the same product.

Usually last longer than other injectables, anywhere from six months to one year, and the continuation of the injections may last longer.

- Filled
Permanent
may seem like a dream come true, but ArteFill can be the first truly permanent injectable available. It is composed of bovine collagen and smooth microspheres can not be absorbed back into the body like other fillers. It is generally used for the nasolabial fold. Swelling, redness, allergic reaction, and visible strokes of the particles are all possible complications.

Bottom line is that I want to give people botox, laser treatments, face lifts, chemical peels and the person who is conducting the proceedings. What is the best and most saught after degree education / medical offices that are looking for? I’d like to be a dermatologist or dermasurgeon, but I am so not going to want to go to school for 12 years for that. some one help! I do not know what is the best way to get where I want! thanks!
